Grand Rounds Policy 2008-2009
We will be implementing some new policies this academic year in order to make grand rounds a more educational experience for everyone. We are trying to evenly distribute the patient load so that we have time to discuss each case.
- The physician who presents the patient is responsible for submitting the patient's information. Submission forms must be faxed to Rosie Brannan no later than Tuesday 5 pm of the week that the patient will be presented.
- The patient schedule will be posted here up to 4 weeks ahead and updated regularly. Type of condition (ie. rash or management advice).
Biopsy availability and the laboratory responsible for presenting the result. Information will be updated weekly on Wednesday.
- In the event that few or no patients are available for a particular Grand Rounds, interesting inpatient consult cases will be presented.
- There is a patient instruction sheet available to print out and give to your patient.
