Saadia T. Raza, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Dermatology
Dr. Saadia Lakhany Raza received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta where she double majored in Chemistry and Near Eastern Studies. In 1997 she earned her MD also from Emory University. She completed an internship in general surgery training at Emory before redirecting her career path to dermatologic surgery. In the interim years between surgery and dermatology residencies she completed a research fellowship at Washington University with Dr. Lynn Cornelius. She finished her dermatology residency at Washington University in 2003 serving as administrative chief resident and completed her Mohs fellowship in 2005 with Dr. Carl Washington.
She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Missouri Dermatological Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society and St. Louis Dermatologic Society. In addition she serves as the secretary of the St. Louis Dermatologic Society and is on the board of the Women’s Dermatologic Society-American Society Dermatologic Society combined committee.
