The genetic basis of inflammatory diseases of the skin, including psoriasis and atopic dermatitis are studied in the laboratory of Dr. Anne Bowcock (Department of Genetics and Internal Medicine/Dermatology). Her laboratory has significantly contributed to understanding the genetic basis of these diseases.
