History: A 21 year old Caucasian female presented to the Washington University/Barnes Hospital Dermatology clinic with a lesion on the sole of her right foot of four days duration. The lesion started while she was traveling in Zambia. The patient stateed that she often wore sandals while in Zambia.
Physical Exam: A 7 mm firm papule with a central punctum
was present on the heel of the right foot (Fig1). An excisional
biopsy was performed.
