History: A 46 year-old Caucasian male presented to the
Dermatology Clinic with a several month history of a painful rash
in his axilla, groin, and scalp. He had been treated with Aldara
for presumed molluscum and doxycycline for presumed folliculitis
for several weeks prior to his initial visit without improvement.
Physical Exam: There were erythematous infiltrated
papules and plaques in the inguinal creases and left axilla. Erythematous
crusted papules were scattered diffusely throughout the scalp.
Past Medical History: Diabetes Insipidus
Medications: DDAVP, Aldara, doxycycline
