History: 65 y.o.w.m with a PMH of CAD s/p PCI 2001 and 2002, L wrist tendon sheath ganglion cyst and R shoulder trauma. He was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia/Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (CLL/SLL) five months ago with low platelets and an elevated lymphocyte count. He presented with a two month history of transient swelling of the hands, feet and scrotum that spontaneously resolved over a few days. The patient had some pain with the episodes but no other symptoms.

Past Medical Hx: CAD s/p PCI 2001 and 2002, L wrist tendon sheath ganglion cyst, R shoulder trauma, CLL/SLL in 3/2012

Family Hx: Noncontributory

Allergies: NKA.

Medications: Pt is currently on no treatment for his CLL/SLL 

Physical Exam: 2+ Non-pitting edema in R hand (Fig.1).
