History: A 22 year old Caucasian male presented with worsening painful rash that started on the lower legs and was spreading for 1 month.  At onset of rash, he also had mild bilateral knee pain.   

Past Medical History: None Past Medical History: None. 

Allergies: No known drug allergies

Family History: Not significant

Medications: Doxycycline 100 mg BID x 1 week

Physical Exam: Palpable purpura on abdomen, upper extremities, and lower extremities (Fig. 1, Fig 2, Fig 3).

Laboratory data: Normal CBC and BMP.  UA: 1+ protein and 2+ blood at presentation and subsequent
