The Division of Dermatology’s excellence in clinical care, research, and education depends on our faculty, residents and volunteer clinical faculty. Our faculty members come from diverse backgrounds and have trained with world experts in medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and dermatopathology. They offer substantial contributions to our field through clinical and translational research, editorial responsibilities, and leadership in professional societies. Faculty members are dedicated to outstanding clinical care and to training the next generation of dermatologists.
With 20 residents and 2 fellows, our training program is one of the largest in the country. After graduation, our residents and fellows have continued to contribute to the field of dermatology, whether in academics, community practice, or research. Our faculty and residents benefit from collegial relationships with our volunteer clinical faculty, dermatologists in the St. Louis and broader Missouri community who participate in teaching and conferences, and contribute to the excellence of our academic mission.
